​Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be the largest single-themed land expansion at both Disneyland park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Galaxy's Edge will open this summer in Disneyland park and this fall at Disney's Hollywood Studios. While the land is epic in size, every detail in the land has been designed to have an authentic Star Wars feel. The two anchor attractions are – Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, where you will find yourself in the middle of an epic battle between the Resistance and the First Order, and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, which allows you and your flight crew to take the controls of the fastest ship in the galaxy on a special mission. Oga’s Cantina will be a great place for you to grab a beverage, catch up on the latest gossip while R-3X, formerly the Starspeeder pilot on the original Star Tours, DJ’s a collection of new music.

Batuu is the home of Black Spire Outpost, the location you will visit when you arrive at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, which has become a haven for the galaxy’s most colorful — and notorious — characters. 

You can dive deeper into Star Wars storytelling by engaging with the land through the Play Disney Parks app. But there is also plenty to see and do (and taste!) throughout Black Spire Outpost.

While we’re on the subject of taste, there will be several locations in the land to satisfy the appetites of most rogue adventurers:

Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo – Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs has traveled throughout the galaxy following his longtime gig as the chef at Maz Kanata’s castle on Takodana and brings exotic flavors and unusual dishes to his traveling diner “Tuggs’ Grub.”

Ronto Roasters – A recycled podracing engine fires up a spit of exotic meats, meticulously turned by a former smelter droid, 8D-J8. You can even sample some of the tasty Ronto fare. 

Milk Stand – The place to go to get your farm-fresh blue milk or green milk, direct from Bubo Wamba Family Farms.

Kat Saka’s Kettle – One of the many street market stalls, this grain vendor sells the ever-popular Outpost Mix (blend of sweet, savory and spicy popcorn).

If you're looking to purchase in-story Star Wars merchandise and rare finds from across the galaxy, look no further than our many different Outpost stores and market stalls.

Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities – For those in the know, Dok-Ondar is the Ithorian you seek for selling and buying rare and uniquely-valued items from across the galaxy and spanning all eras.

Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers – Come to the workshop to meet with the Gatherers – a secretive group of people who have dedicated their lives to restoring balance in the galaxy by passing on their knowledge of Jedi lore and the Force. The workshop Master guides you to customize and build your own unique lightsabers, and instructs you on the ways of the Jedi.

Droid Depot – Visitors to Mubo’s workshop can choose parts and construct their own individual astromech droids to accompany them on their journey, and then take them home with them. 

First Order Cargo – A spaceport hangar bay serves as the temporary base and landing spot for the First Order. First Order officers have brought in crates of gear, uniforms and other supplies to win the hearts and minds of locals and visitors to Black Spire Outpost.  

Resistance Supply – Resistance members and local sympathizers oversee a makeshift stall that supplies Resistance uniforms, pins, badges, hats, helmets, jackets, maps, tools, training supplies, food rations and other items. 

There are also several market stalls which sell a variety of merchandise such as: 

• Toydarian Toymaker (toys) 
• Creature Stall (interesting critters that you can take home with you)
• Black Spire Outfitters (clothing)
• The Jewels of Bith (accessories and other trinkets to treasure)

At Epcot®, you can explore World Showcase and discover more about each of the countries represented. And now more than ever, it’s a place where you can experience the culture of those countries, as well as the wonderful stories they’ve inspired.
Beginning March 6, 2019, the tender story and vibrant music of Disney•Pixar’s “Coco” comes to the Mexico pavilion, courtesy of the incomparable Mariachi Cobre.
The immensely talented musicians of Mariachi Cobre are joined by a pair of Folklórico dancers to tell the tale of Miguel Rivera, his love of music, and his journey to find what matters most – his familia. The dancers perform to the music of the film, pulling everyone into the celebration, and Miguel himself appears in the form of a whimsical, hand-crafted puppet.
This new “Coco”-inspired show expands the repertoire of Mariachi Cobre, who will also continue enchanting guests at the Mexico pavilion with performances of traditional mariachi music.
This spring, you enjoy Mariachi Cobre presenting the story and music of “Coco,” beginning March 6, 2019, during the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.

Ralph and Vanellope from Disney’s animated adventure “Ralph Breaks the Internet” have been meeting their fans at Disney Parks since last fall, when their movie debuted in theaters. Starting this week, youcan find these best friends in an all-new location at Epcot®.
The staff of the Imagination Institute is now conducting a new experiment, creating a portal into other dimensions. That portal has opened a window on the internet for Ralph and Vanellope to step through, right into the ImageWorks area of the Imagination! pavilion, where Guests can meet with them every day.

Only a few short steps away from The Art of Disney near Goofy’s Candy Co. at Disney Springs® Marketplace, The Art Corner by Artistic Talent Group is a can’t-miss destination for any creative at heart.
At this new pop-up store, you can check out the unique hands-on Artistic Marbling activity where you’ll learn the ancient art form of Suminigashi and work with a professional artisan to create custom-made silk items. This unique experience debuted at the 2018 Epcot® International Festival of the Arts and continues to be a  favorite. The best part? There’s no way to mess it up! Each scarf design comes out beautifully.
Coffee lovers can show their love for your favorite morning java with a unique “Coffee & Canvas” piece! Florida artist, Steven Mikel, adds a touch of whimsy to the space with his unique coffee-inspired paintings designed to reveal beauty tucked away in the details of the world. 
Caricatures continue to be a favorite souvenir at Walt Disney World® Resort and The Art Corner by Artistic Talent Group offers a new and innovative digital sketch version, as well as the classic watercolor style. You will also find another souvenir favorite, Name Works, the popular provider of personalized artwork, whipping up hand-drawn names personalized with your choice of illustrations.

2019 marks the 30th anniversary of Disney’s Hollywood Studios® at Walt Disney World® Resort. And, now more than ever, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the perfect place to step into the amazing worlds of Pixar stories like “The Incredibles,” “Monsters, Inc.,” “Toy Story,” and very soon, “Cars.”
An Incredible Celebration brings a Municiberg city block from Disney•Pixar’s “Incredibles 2” to life with a hometown celebration honoring the city’s super heroes – and the hero in all of us! You can get caught up in the excitement of “The Super Shindig” featuring Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and Frozone. You may even find yourself on TV, thanks to the local news crew. “The Super Shindig” is filled with music, dancing, interactive games, and tons of super fun!
The entire area has a great, early-‘60s vibe, directly inspired by “The Incredibles.” As you explore, you will find fun photo ops, evidence of young Jack-Jack discovering his powers, and super tasty “num num” cookies. You won’t want to miss The Edna Mode Experience, where after touring a gallery of the famous designer’s super suits, you can meet Edna Mode herself.
Inside the nearby Walt Disney Presents attraction, you can go on another Pixar adventure when you step through a door to the monster world to say hello to Mike Wazowski and Sulley on the Scare Floor of “Monsters, Inc.”
Just around the corner is the all-new Toy Story Land, where you shrink down to the size of a toy in Andy’s backyard and encounter Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Jessie, get caught up in a game of “Sarge Says” with the Green Army Patrol, or delight in the  rhythms of the Green Army Drum Corps.
Starting March 31, 2019, the world of “Cars” comes to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the form of Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy, a new high-octane show experience that’ll bring you face-to-face with the legendary Piston Cup champ.
There are even more exciting new things on the horizon as Disney’s Hollywood Studios marks its 30th anniversary, but right now, it’s the perfect time to come out and celebrate with some of your favorite Pixar pals!
